BLOT Series - Blotting & Transfer

These membranes are used in molecular biology and genetics study. The membrane acts as a carrier of proteins, RNA and DNA which was transferred using “Blot” Method. The transfer can be done via gel electrophoresis or “Dot Blot: where macromolecules are directly applied onto the membranes. Common materials are nitrocellulose, nylon and PVDF.
